Whether you're an actor or writer looking to expand your craft or even if you've never been on stage before, now's your chance to revisit an old friend or make a new one.

Defector-Art Theatre is constantly on the look-out for both new actors and writers. So if you would like to get involved by becoming part of a production or if you would like to see your work on stage please feel free to contact us!

Most people choose to contact us via email. If choosing to do so, please attach your CV and a headshot along with a brief email. If you have any comments or questions, this is the perfect time to ask. To avoid delays in response, you will be contacted via phone so please include your contact phone number in the email.

If you decide to phone us, you will be asked the following brief questions:

  • what sort of theatre interests you?
  • what sort of experience do you have?
  • what are you hoping to achieve?
  • sometimes there are roles available where some nudity may be required, would you like to be considered for these roles?
  • which days are you available for weekly rehearsals?
